+ Where can I park my Tiny Home?
Where to park is only limited to creativity (and some local laws, perhaps). You will want to check with your city and state concerning local laws . You may look for willing landowners, RV parks (in some cases), or consider purchasing real estate. + How much does a MitchCraft Tiny House weigh?
This will depend on the size of your trailer and what materials used. They can range anywhere from 8,000-20,000+ pounds.
+ How do I get power? Do you offer “off-grid” items?
All homes are built to be hooked up via conventional 120v ac electrical hookup (30 amp) or 240v ac (50 amp) service, depending on appliances. This requires a typical RV style hookup, and comes standard with each home. For Customers in need of an off-grid setup, we partner with a solar company who offers solar packages, depending on your specific needs. These fully off-grid systems typically increase the overall cost by $6,000-$9,500, depending on your appliances, and typical uses.
+ Do you deliver? How much do you charge?
Delivery can be arranged to anywhere in the U.S., and beyond! Local and long distance deliveries are done by trusted professional towing companies who typically charge per loaded mile. For a rough estimate on how much your delivery will cost, simply add up the miles from your location to Fort Collins, CO, and multiply by $2.50 per mile. Pricing varies depending on size and weight of the tiny home.

+ Do you have payment plans? How do I purchase a home?
Whether your home is financed or you are paying with cash, we are able to break the full cost of a house into three installments. They are broken down as follows:
25% of total estimated price: non-refundable deposit to hold your spot in line.
50% of total price: due before build begins.
25% of total price: due when build is complete, prior to pickup, when you are 100% satisfied with your home.
+ What contracts and agreements can I expect once I'm ready to purchase?
Once a house layout and quote for the build is agreed upon, a formal Building Contract will follow. The contract will include agreements on the scope of work, the timeline of the build, total estimated price, liability, payment agreements, etc.
We will provide a reasonable quote and strive to fall within this. Due to the nature of building and unforeseen costs that may arise, a fixed cost of the project cannot be guaranteed. An estimated cost will be quoted to you, and any differences will be accounted for in the final 25% payment.
