MitchCraft Tiny Homes was born out of a passion for a more sustainable lifestyle and an interest in the creative opportunities presented when building small.
Mitch Holmes, Owner and Builder
My interest in alternative housing sparked years ago, and I fell in love with tiny homes the moment I discovered them. My work in furniture-making, cabinet-making, and residential-remodeling fueled an appreciation for the creative, detailed, and unique ways we express ourselves. Even if just in small ways-like the feeling we get from of a space, or the integrity of a piece of furniture-the things we build deserve our attention.
While building my own personal tiny house, I realized that I have a passion for the creative opportunities (and challenges) that building in such a small space provides. I want to create beautiful tiny homes that people can really LIVE in.
We spend countless hours designing, drawing, measuring, and thinking about tiny homes. This results in our ability to offer layouts and features that genuinely improve the space-efficiency and, most importantly, the livability of a home. The same people that design your home will build your home, and we are delighted to take the extra effort to customize every inch instead of the time- and cost-cutting standardization that is typical in the housing market today. We work one-on-one with our customers to meet each customer’s unique needs.
We want to help you achieve your dream by providing an affordable, sustainable option; we are excited to work with you to create a home that you are proud to come home to every day.
MitchCraft Tiny Homes is located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
If you are interested in visiting, please contact us to schedule an appointment. In person tours are available Thursdays and Fridays at 12:45pm.
We have 2 homes under construction at any given time, and it’s typical to be able to see an almost complete home and a shell, or a home in some stage of framing. You will have an opportunity to see how we build from the “bones out”.
Due to our busy schedule, and to protect our staff, we ask that only serious inquiries or potential future clients schedule a tour with us. We also offer virtual tours to those potential clients living farther away. We ask everyone who is scheduled for a tour to fill out a free quote request, so that we are all on the same page when you come visit.
According to Fort Collins ordinance and Colorado State law, individuals are required to wear face coverings when visiting businesses.
Other places to go see tiny homes is at the Wee Casa Tiny House Hotel in Lyons, CO.
